İngilizce Kek Tarifleri

Chocolate Cake

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar
Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Add the eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes (batter will be thin). Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan.

Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioners’ sugar. Yield: 12 servings.

Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ICING:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

Preheat oven to 325°. Sift together dry ingredients in a bowl. Add oil, coffee and milk; mix at medium speed 1 minute. Add eggs and vanilla; beat 2 minutes longer. (Batter will be thin.)

Pour into two greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans (or two 8-in. round baking pans and six muffin cups).
Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Cool on wire racks.

Meanwhile, for icing, combine milk and flour in a saucepan; cook until thick. Cover and refrigerate.

In a bowl, beat butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add chilled milk mixture and beat 10 minutes. Frost cooled cake. Yield: 12 servings.

Orange Cake

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant lemon pudding mix
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
Directions

Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and pudding mix. Make a well in the center and pour in 3/4 cup orange juice, oil, eggs and lemon extract. Beat on low speed until blended. Scrape bowl, and beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

In a saucepan over medium heat, cook 1/3 cup orange juice, sugar and butter for two minutes. Drizzle over cake.
